October Shows: It is absolutely amazing how time flies. October is just about over and Prestige had two show appearances this month. Starting with the Let’s Show Fall Festival, we came out strong taking home 69 ribbons 2 champions and 1 reserve champion. It was a great show and Brookside Equestrian Show Park put on yet another wonderful event. We are so proud of the Fall Festival Show team. We are just getting home from our showing at the Rancho Murieta Let’s Show Halloween Celebration. This was an enormous show with many classes having over 30 horses competing. Prestige had yet another great showing. We are so proud of everyone who showed in both of the shows this October. A special congrats to our first time rated show competitors Syann and Morgan., as well as a first show appearance with Prestige for Lily Davis. Sonoma Strides & Tides: What a great show!! Prestige made quite the showing again in Sonoma taking home over 50 ribbons (with only 6 horses)!!! We can not express how proud we are of our show team and all of Prestige. Highlights: Mr. Moses takes home 2 show Championships in his only 2 divisions, 0.80 and 0.85 Jumpers. Jimmy Jammie, made his first show debut and took home a Reserve Champion in the 0.85. And if that wasn’t enough, he decided to cross over and become a two ring horse, showing very well in the hunter ring. Mia took home 8 ribbons including a 2nd and two 3rds in the 0.95 modified AA’s. Her first show with the Prestige Family. Quelle took home 4 ribbons including a 1st in the 0.95 Jumpers, 5th in the Cloverleaf Medals and a third in the Pre-Children’s Jumpers. Lowengraf took home Reserve Champion in the 1.00m Low Children’s jumper when placing in all of his classes including a 1st in the Low Children’s 1.00m Jumpers. Last but not least, Panzer took home 14 ribbons including a Reserve Champion in the Small Hunters and Mika taking home a 4th in the Walk Trot Hunter Hack. We can hardly wait for the October Let’s Show Fall Festival Show at Brookside.

New Jump Course: Check out our new full show jumper course!! With the new arena footing and great new jump course, we are looking forward to progressing our riders jumping to new heights. We have also added some great new obstacles to keep our equestrian athletes competing at their best.
Sonoma Pictures— Thanks Dan T: Our wonderful equine model photos are up from the Sonoma HMI June Classics Horse Show. We had such a great showing, and the photos are equally as stunning. Looking forward to the next Sonoma Horse Show. Don’t forget to get signed up!!!
Now Accepting Lesson and Training Clients: After almost 5 months of limited lesson availability, we are opening up spots for new lesson clients. The prestige family has grown with the move to AppleCreek and with the addition of Hannah as our Assistant Trainer. This growth has allowed us to re-open our doors to new lesson and training clients. We are very excited to have the opportunity to expand the Prestige Family. We are a very tight group but have been waiting for the opportunity to open our arms to new additions. This is a great way to sit down and think of where you want your Equestrian career to go and allows Prestige to custom model a program that will achieve your individual goals.
New Assistant Trainer Hannah Carlson: Though she does not need an introduction to the Prestige Family, it has become official. Hannah is our new Assistant Trainer. Hannah is an accomplished three day event rider with 3 years of experience with hunter/jumper lessoning and training. Though she has been part of the Prestige Family for the last year, we are so excited to introduce her as the new and first official assistant trainer. Please check out her Bio on the About Us page!!
Welcome Back Dana Groop: We are happy to have our Davis family in the Bay Area. Dana was with Prestige back at our beginnings and has came back with her new horse. Welcome back and thanks for your continued loyalty and commitment to the program!!! On the topic of a continued Davis presence, Cosmo has been back in the program for a few months now and is making a splash back in the show ring!!!
New Lesson Horses: We are proud to introduce our new lesson horses. Kalua is on trial as a lesson horse for the upper level riders. A Holsteiner with an Ex– Grand Prix history and a demanding presence. Packed into a small package, Kalua is ready to bring our mid-level riders to new levels. Watcher(AKA Uno) is a big beautiful Hungarian Warmblood, with many years of experience as a low to mid level lesson horse. He has a kind heart and a watchful eye for the beginner to intermediate riders. Watcher lost his left eye as a colt, but has not let that impede his abilities as a Hunter/Jumper. Come meet the new horses in the Prestige Family and book a lesson to check them out!!!
Now At Apple Creek Farms in Castro Valley: Now located at Apple Creek. We will be unveiling a NEW jump course with NEW Custom Standards, Poles and Obstacles. Come Check It Out!!
Brookside Welcome Week Horse Show 2012: Thanks to everyone who supported the Brookside Horse Show. We had a great group out there and made a great showing. We want to make a special congratulations to all of our riders and horses and a special thanks to all the family who came to out for support. Panzer, owned by Aya Clear, came home with a Champion ribbon and Two Reserve Championships. Mr. Moses DNG, owned by Monica Korts, took home Two Champion Ribbons. And Dragonwood’s Montero, owned by Redwood Ranch, took home a Reserve Champion ribbon and 5th place in the low child/adult Jumpers $500 class.. Quelle, owned by Hannah O’toole, took a 4th place in her first money class. Fletcher, owned by Debra Van Horn, took home a 1st in his 3’11” money class. Congratulations to Zoe, Hannah, Alma and Aya for competing in their first rated show! We can not wait to see you at Pebble Beach!
Happy New Years!!: Well it has been an interesting year in deed; moving away from the Davis Prestige Family and starting on a new journey to win the hearts of the riders of Oakland. With the move, we have added so many wonderful people to our family and to see our girls travel from Davis to continue making strides with Prestige is an absolute honor. We have been made so comfortable at Redwood Ranch, as they welcomed us with open arms. In a few short months, we have seen our riders grow both as equestrians and as people. We have never worked with so many young girls, who’s drive and passion can inspire everyone. As the year draws to a close and we embark on another year and another show season, we want to thank each and everyone who have joined the Prestige Family. We are honored that you have decided to make us a part of your life.
