Gelato aka “Gelly” is a Belgian Warmblood by the stallion Torino. Torino was recently purchased by Anne Kursinski as her 2012 Olympic Prospect. This horse is a fantastic Grand Prix prospect himself. Tons of scope, confident from the deep or the long. He is sensitive (no spurs) and intelligent. Great mover, could do upper level dressage as well. He is clean, brave and honest. This horse is not suited for a beginner/intermediate rider. Would be fine for an experienced teen or amateur. He is kind to mistakes and was leased by an amateur as a 3 year old. He has not shown yet but schools up to 3' at home. Gelato has been to an “A" rated show and jumped around show courses during schooling hours, both in the hunter and jumper arenas. He also was great in the busy warm-up rings, not problem with horses coming towards him, or too close to him! Trailer, clips, ties, perfect for the farrier. Extremely patient in the cross ties. Gelly is also wonderful on trails. I am selling him strictly for financial reasons, as I have too many horses. This is a TOP jumper. He will go far in a good program! |
